Connect Shopify to Claude with the Tunca Dockyard MCP server
Claude + Shopify, now on mobile and web too
Using Claude with Shopify was already possible, but only through Claude Code, the developer tool that runs on your computer. With Tunca Dockyard the connection leaves the developers' world: it's an MCP server that brings your Shopify store into the Claude mobile app and Claude web, even on the free plan. Open Claude on your phone or in the browser and work on your store by talking.
What changes is where you use it — but above all, who works for you.
Your assistant, not just any bot
This is the key point of Tunca Dockyard: what works on your Shopify isn't a generic assistant, but your assistant — the one you've already set up, the one that knows your company. Your business logic, your price lists, your commercial and marketing data.
Until now that assistant could reason about the data you gave it, but it couldn't connect to the store. Now it does both, in both directions: it reads what's in your store and analyzes it, and when needed it acts. And it does so understanding the context, because it already knows your business.
On the analysis side: "show me all orders from last quarter and tell me which products sell best in France", "how are sales doing compared to last month?". On the action side: "apply the VAT-registered customer price list to these products", "update the new collection's descriptions in our tone of voice". In both cases the assistant knows what you mean.
No limits: read, analyze, act
On Shopify there are no half-features, neither read-only nor write-only: if an operation can be done by an external application, it can be done with Tunca Dockyard. View and analyze products, orders, customers, collections and inventory; update them; manage per-market pricing (set or remove a dedicated price list without touching the general rules); and everything else that's part of running your store.

Multiple stores, multi-user, supervised by Tunca
The power is maximal, but access always stays under control. Tunca Dockyard is built for teamwork and for companies with more than one store:
Granular permissions: you decide who can only view and who can edit, and on which areas (products, orders, prices…).
Multiple stores, distinct permissions for each: many companies run more than one Shopify store — B2C and B2B, a live site and a test environment, different brands or markets. The same person can access all the ones they're responsible for, with a specific permission for each store: for example full edit on the test store and read-only on the live one, or write on B2C and view on B2B.
Supervised by Tunca: we configure and oversee access, you don't go it alone.
Reserved for Tunca clients: it's a service dedicated to those who work with us.
In short: your team has all of Shopify's power within a conversation, but each person only where they should, with the right permissions.
Why it helps your business
Continuity: you work with the assistant that already knows your price lists, data and business logic — nothing to re-explain every time.
Analysis on the fly: ask for an analysis of orders and sales and you get it read through your business context, not as raw numbers.
Use it wherever you are: from your phone while you're in the warehouse or the shop, not just at your desk.
Less time in the admin: daily tasks get done by talking, not clicking.
Simple, safe delegation: precise tasks for the right people, with clear permissions, on each store.
