What the law requires

Directive (EU) 2023/2673, transposed in Italy by Legislative Decree 209/2025. The principle is simple: withdrawing must be as easy as buying.

An always-visible button

Clear and accessible throughout the withdrawal period, with unambiguous wording such as “Withdraw from the contract”.

Two steps on the site

The button leads to a form where the consumer enters a few details and confirms the request.

Acknowledgment on a durable medium

An email sent without undue delay, including the content of the request, the date and the time.

Our solution: compliant and privacy-friendly

Many off-the-shelf apps show the order's products after order number and email, data that don't prove the requester's identity: a concrete GDPR risk. We solved it at the root.

Only the necessary data

The customer enters order number and email. No product list, no details shown.

Always a neutral response

The form always replies the same way, neither confirming nor denying that an order exists: no enumeration, no data exposure.

Automatic cancellation

If the order exists and hasn't shipped yet, it is cancelled and fully refunded automatically.

Branded and traced

Integrated into the store's theme (logo, colors, fonts), with Shopify's native confirmation email and every request logged with a tag and a note.
